in the name of our gracious and living Saviour!Grace Baptist Church began forty years ago because of the vision and burden of a group of Christians from the Council Bluffs area. A Bible study was started and in October 1960 special meetings were held in the Armory building of Red Oak. In 1961 property was purchased on 5th and Hammond Street, and in 1973 a new building was constructed at 1510 N. 6th Street by those who attended.
We are Christian believers who are striving to make Jesus Christ central in our lives. He is the head of the church and it is around Him that our priorities, practices, and values revolve. Each of us here at Grace Baptist are in the process of daily yielding ourselves to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We invite you to come be a part of the church that God is building for His glory. Our heart's desire is for you to come to know Christ as your Saviour and Lord. God's Word will help you to grow in the grace and knowledge of Him.
