Words of Welcome from the Pastor
"Grace and peace to you from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ..." Thanks for stopping by at our website. We hope that this "stop-over" on the information highway is both helpful and hopeful for you.Our greatest hope and comfort in life is this: God meets us in Jesus Christ, God's son.
He lived for us, died for us, rose for us, ascended into heaven for us, and now prays
for us. We know in this that God loves us and accepts us.
We want you to know the hope that Jesus Christ brings. Please come join us.
If you do not have a church home in the Clarinda area, please stop by on a Sunday morning at 10:30 AM for worship, or at 9:30 AM
for Sunday School. We also have a mid-week program for the kids, and plenty of opportunities
to exercise your musical muscles. "Church" is not just what we do on Sunday and Wednesday
though. The church family is involved in each other's lives throughout the week as well, we
invite you to join our friendships, our worship,
our ministry, and our fellowship.
At our home here in cyberspace, you can also find current prayer joys and concerns, a calendar, and lots of other helpful information about the life of Trinity church. Just use the icons at the top of the page to navigate around the site, and may the Lord continue to bless you and keep you.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Leslie
How to find us!
We are located one block West of the Square in downtown Clarinda
at the corner of 17th and Washington Streets.
Please explore our offerings on this site, leave a prayer request, share a praise, and join us in worship.
"The United Presbyterian Church was organized during the Civil War in 1864. In 1871 a wood building
at 17th and Washington Streets was used for worship, and
in 1886 a new brick building took it's place. The
present structure was built and dedicated in 1925. In 1955 the United Presbyterian name changed to Trinity
(USA)."
