Meet Trinity's Minister
Rev Leslie Traylor and her daughter, Sarah, and Bingo and Baylee (not shown in picture) came to Clarinda the latter part of October, 2007 when Rev Traylor took the position as pastor and leader of our congregation. Rev Traylor spiritually grew up in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati. She has taught high school math. She is what is referred to as a second career minister. She has a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. She received those in 1995 and 1996. She was a solo pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Bellflower, Mo, and an Associate Pastor at First United Methodist-Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Mo. Her most recent church calling was at the First Presbyterian Church in Kirksville, Mo.
She has served on numerous Presbyterian Boards and Councils since her ordination. Some of these include Clergy Commissioner on the 213th General Assembly. She was the Moderator of Missouri Union Presbytery in 2003. She has served as moderator or co-moderator on numerous Presbytery committees.
